Martin Jol for Ireland?

There are stories strongly linking Martin Jol with Ajax. However, Jol himself has said that he would rather stay in England for the sake of his family because is daughter is now settled in school. Taking the Ireland job would not require him to move house. Also, Chris Hughton, his assistant at Spurs also got the sack recently, and I'm sure he has a big interest in what's going on with the Ireland team, being a former international. In the near future it wouldn't surprise me at all, if the pair of them got appointed to lead Ireland in to the World Cup in South Africa. Fingers crossed anyway, they'd be a lot better than Liam Brady or Graeme Souness!!
