Premiership Puzzler
Answer - 2nd January 2007 Which current Premiership manager has the best points per game ratio? The answer is a bit sneaky, because it's Avram Grant with 2.17 points per game, in second place and bearing in mind he has managed 588 more games than Grant, is Alex Ferguson with 2.12 points per game, and in third place is Arsene Wenger, with 2.02 points per game.
Answer - 17th December 2007: Gus Poyet is the top scoring South American in Premier League history with a tally of 54 goals from 187 games for Chelsea and Tottenham.
Answer - 10th December 2007: Gareth Southgate is the player who has played most times in the Premiership having never come off the bench. He has made 426 appearances, all starts. He's actually 6th in the all time appearances list, only coming in behind Gary Speed, David James, Ryan Giggs, Alan Shearer and Sol Campbell.
